Front Mission 3

"Truly one of the best Turn-Based Strategy games ever!"

Front Mission 3 is truly one of the best games ever to be released for the Playstation Console. It's strategy element is so in-depth. You'll take into consideration almost every aspect of the game. That particular element in of the game really impressed me. As a gamer, I have my criteria in judging if the game is really good or not.

Gameplay and Controls (9 pts): This game is really fun to play and is very exciting. There's an in-depth strategy element in preparing your mechs. Every detail will be taken into consideration and each of them can dramatically alter the course of the game. This game is also quite long and I'm sure you'll enjoy playing it for hours. As for the controls, it's very much easy to use as the game is just like playing a board game where you have to put your piece in a particular square or location in the board and the have that piece do some actions during its turn.

Storyline (8 pts): The story of this game is really enticing. You'll want to play more just to see what will happen next. The story is very well-planned and the element of surprise is very well done also. The characters in the game interact with each other effectively and it contributes to the better understanding of the story.

Graphics and Sounds (10 pts): What can I say? It's graphics are flawless, especially the Mechs and their abilities. It slows down a bit though, but it really doesn't matter. The details of the background is very impressive to. The game really took into consideration the importance of the field. You'll can easily pinpoint a specific location in the battle field. The sound effects of the game, on the other hand, is excellent! It's realistic and you can even know what your mechs are doing just by listening to the sound and almost every action of the mechs have sounds which add into its realism.

Replay Value (8 pts): In my Honest Opinion, this game has a good replay value. During the course of the game, the outcome of events, depends on your decision. You can then play again and see what will happen if you make the other decision. Also, you'll never get bored with the battles. You'll even get more excited when your Mechs can do a lot of nasty things to the enemies.

As a conclusion, I really recommend this game. Every Strategy game Fanatic will most likely to love this game. Square really planned this game well and every penny you spent will be very much worth it.
