Breath of Fire IV

Well, Breath Of Fire IV is finally out. Is it a good game? No, in fact, it's terrible. That's why it has a score of 2 out of 10...

GamePlay:-
Can't Capcom make a game right? The skill system is back, and worse then ever. Now I can defend and learn every skill. I liked the examine option in Breath Of Fire III better. This system ruins the experience of this game. I don't want to defend for hours and then finally get a useless skill. This game allows you to turn into dragons. The dragons themselves look pathetic and are useless in every aspect. In most games a good story can cover bad gameplay, but not in Breath Of Fire IV. You'll find yourself leveling up 10 levels to beat a boss. That's over-doing it a lot. In Breath Of Fire IV there are a lot of mini-games. Now, don't get me wrong. I love mini-games but this game takes them way too far. Want to find out where to go in the game? Take water out of a well and the old man will tell you. Then, after that, he'd generally tell you the information you want is known by someone five minutes into the desert. I love mini-games but this game goes too far.

Graphics:-
They are terrible. Capcom takes 2D characters and sticks them in a 3D world. The result? Terrible graphics. I mean, when you've used the system once or twice you should make the graphics as good as you can. I don't need graphics in games but what's wrong with a little eye candy? They should have used the systems abilities to the maximum like Square did.

Story:-
This is what really gets me-why is the story in every Breath Of Fire almost the same? Capcom is lazy. There is no plot twists. Nothing that makes me want to play a tiny bit more. Nothing. That is pathetic. I want a story when I play an RPG-not some random text that appears on the screen. The story is gibberish and has little meaning to it. You control Ryu, a man who is naked in the beginning of the game. What the heck is that? Yes, there is that kind of stuff in this game. I can't wait to hear what parents will say.
