"Not what I expected"

Music 9/10

I LOVED the music in this game. The music may be on the childish side, but is definitely funny. The music was very varied and the rapping was excellent. The down side is that music gets boring after a while. It's just not fun to listen to it. Another draw back music be the fact that there is on 6 levels meaning that there are only a total of 6 songs.

Story 1/10

Yes, this game has a story. *Sure didn't look like it had one in the commercials.* It's so corny. It's way to childish. I expected more or didn't even want to have any story at all. It was that bad. You are just a freaking dog who goes and tries to empress your ''girl'' through out the game, but you have problems. You solve these problems by rapping. The way it all happens is extremely retarded. I didn't do a good job on describing the story, but don't blame me because it was horrible.

Control 8/10

When you are rapping, you use the triangle, square, X, circle, R1, and L1. If you played Bust a Groove 1 or 2 you'll easily find the controls and game play similar also. There is a line. It looks like
this ..........................................… and there will be commands you will have to enter. Looks like this .........X.........X.........X. At the right moments, you enter X X X. Get it? There are more commands as you progress through the game. That's basically how you rap, just enter the right commands at the right beat.

Graphics 3/10

BORING. Talk about bad, it seems that the makes spent most of there time on the movie CG part of the game. When you rap, the levels AREN'T very detailed at all. The characters are cut out, which is OK, but the backgrounds totally suck. The graphics totally ruin the game.

Rent or Buy

I suggest you rent this. You might like this but mostly you'll get bored with it. It's easily beaten within one day any ways.

Additional Stuff

- Only one character to play with.
- There is only six stages. This is one of the worse things about it. Six stages! That's CRAZY! How can this game have only six stages. This game will only be played for a short time.
- I strongly suggest you stay away from this game. I got bored with it in 1 day and have never played it again. I rather suggest you get Bust a Groove 1 or 2.
