I am a true diehard skater.I was on of the millions who liked the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.It was a very good game but it was a little too unreal for me.Jumping from building to building in New York?Please.Just when I was begining to think skating games would always suck along comes thrasher.This game is SICK!A must Buy for a skater.

Gameplay 10/10
The controls are a bit tough to master but the fast and fun action will keep you playing till you learn them.Thetricks are better the Tony Hawk's.On THPS you get a little number of tricks, but on thrasher you have a lot of true to life tricks that are not Tony Hawk.Finally a game that has the big flip!One of the best parts of the levels is that some of them dont have wood ramps or anything like that, just pure street.The last level is simply amazing and has to be seen to be believed.The combo system is much better is much more real then THPS.On thrasher the combos are realistic and real skaters can pull them off.(well at least the pros can anyway).Multiplayer is one of the best features in the game.The most inventive and coolest of them is sick fix.Who ever slams the best wins.Sweet isn't it?

Audio/Video 9/10
The graphics are great but not as good as Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.The funniest thing about the graphics is the slams.The arms and legs will fly all over the place and sometimes you will do the splits or even worse, get hit by a subway train(ouch).Rockstar really put some time into the music.The soundtrack is perfect for skating.The ledgends of hip hop are in this game like The Sugar Hill Gang, Run DMC and more.Kudos to rockstar for the best music I ever heard on a game.

Replayability 10/10
The one player mode will keep you thrashin' to beat your high score or to unlock new spots to destroy.The best replayable part of the game is multiplayer.Plenty of fun for skaters and skate haters everywhere.Of corse like I said before, the best multiplayer mode is sick fix.Slams are how to get points not tricks.Very Inventive Idea.Your Friends will love the idea of a slam contest.

All skaters who are looking for a skating sim much like the real thing look no more.Even if you are not into skating rent it for a weekend to play with friends.Check it out!It is SICK!Peace Out!
