"Just missing something......"

INTELLIGENT QUBE
Intelligent Qube is a complicated game of cubes. You have to destroy most of the cubes using strategy, but it is not that simple, there are obstacles in the game. There are some blocks that can blow up all the blocks around them, and some more that you do not want to blow up, and in the end the game will calculate your mind-boggling score, which can get into the six hundreds.

PROS:
1. An addictive game that increases your intelligence, but unlike school it can actually be fun.
2. It is a fun game once you start to play it.

CONS:
1. It is a hard game to find, and when you do you will have to pay a chuck of your wallet for it new, but if you get it used, it is just as much as a brand new game.
2. Once you get good at the game you will have to spend close to an hour for one game, and you can not save in the middle of a game.
3. If you like great graphics, you will be disappointed.

GRAPHICS: 6/10
Intelligent Qube is not top of the line when it comes to video game graphics. The characters look like a stick man drawn by a first grader, and lets not forget about the graphical marvel known as a cube. The graphics in Intelligent Qube are not overwhelming, but they will get the job done.

AUDIO: 4/10
There really are no sounds that are used in this game. There is a man yelling when he falls down off of the platform, and a twinkling sound when you get passed a level. Both of those sounds really do not do anything to add to the game.

CONTROLS: 8/10
The controls will be a little bit confusing at first, but once you get begin to figure them out they are easy. You will also get frustrated when you only want one of the bombs to blow up but you make two go off, then you will curse the whole control system. Other than that, they are just a little bit over mediocre.

GAMEPLAY: 10/10
This is a fun strategy game. Most strategy games are just plain boring, bust this one can really keep your attention. The two player game could use a little bit of help, but it is still fun. I would have thought that it would have been great if there were two players on the same puzzle competing for different cubes. If you like puzzle type games or strategy games then this will be one of the more fun games for the Playstation game console.

REPLAY VALUE: 6/10
Once you have gotten everything that is possible (which does not take too much time) you really do not feel the need to continue to play it, especially once you realize that all of the puzzles are in the same order. Although this is a fun game the first time around the second and third just seem to get monotonous.

STORY LINE: 4/10
There is not really much of a story line for this game, all you really have to do is blow up all of the blocks that you have to and be careful so you do not blow up the blocks that you do not have to before all of the blocks get to the end of the platform that you are standing on. If you succeed then you will get a bonus added on to your score and you will add another layer onto your platform. If you fail then you will lose one layer off of your platform for each of the blocks that you wanted to blow up that fell off and one for blocks that you were not supposed to blow up that you did. If you get through all of the puzzles on one level then you will go onto the next level where you will face tougher challenges and a wider course with faster blocks.

CHEATS: void
There really are not any cheats for this game. The only things that might count are the secret characters that you can unlock by getting a certain IQ on each level of hardness, but there is no way to get them unless you play the game, so they really would not be considered cheats.

BUY RENT?:
If you have the opportunity to buy Intelligent Qube, I would say buy it, especially if you can find it for a price that is relatively cheap. It is not only a great game but it is also an extremely rare game. It is also worth your money to rent, but if you do rent it be aware that you might feel the need to buy the game and then you would have to go through allot of hassle to get the game. Either way, once you get it you will love it.

OVERALL: 8/10
Although the individual categories did not fare well, the game play really brought the overall score up. It is just a fun game to play, and one of the more fun puzzle-strategy games of all time. I think that if there was just a little bit more time spent on this game it could be a huge consideration of the best puzzle game of all time, but as of right now it is just missing too much stuff to be a great game.
