"Awesome!"

Now this is a cool game. I enjoyed almost every aspect of this game (Except the fact that multiplayer isn't 4 player)and if you are a first person shooter fan, you should, too.
Graphics: These are some great graphics! Everything is dark, so it gives you that creepy feeling. It helps set the tone for the game. The enemies look good (really, they look great for the PlayStaion)and so do the backgrounds. The explosions look very real (let's see Stan Lee do that!), and the overall lighting effects are good for a PlayStaion. Now, I'm in ROTC, and I've seen real guns from WWII, and let me tell you the attention to detail in this game is amazing! Those guns (and the tanks and airplanes also)look so close to the real thing you'll swear you were a real OSS agent. Even the uniforms are accurate. You will very rarely see this much attention to detail in a game without adverse affects. Good job. A perfect 10.
Sound: Play this game as loud as possible. The music is so good, it rivals the tracks of most RPGs! The sound effects are awesome! You'll hear soldiers yelling in genuine German. Once again, the game pays attention to details, as most of the guns sound like their real life big bros. And the explosions sound cool, too! Once again a perfect 10.
Control: Here we go, the reason this game was 1 point from greatness. I'll skip how great they are because I don't want to get carried away, so let's go to one of two minor hiccups in this game-aiming. With the analog, you wind up looking at the ceiling far too often. With the d-pad it's TOO SLOW! And worse, if you go to options and pump up the speed that the aiming cursor moves its too fast to be accurate with! Example? OK, you are being shot at. You have try and dodge and aim at the same time. Since the cursor moves do slow, in the later stages where the Germans are crack shots you'll get hit even if you are strafing. If you have it on fast mode...try it and see. Now, if you use analog, you have a totally different problem. You're walking around and get attacked and retaliate. When the attacker's buddies arrive, you retreat, but you wind up looking at the sky and dying. I use analog for the accuracy, and this has happened to me at the very end of two stages. This could have been remedied by having an auto-aim, a lock on aim, or the ol' Turok controls with the analog sticks. However, this really isn't that big of an issue, but it's not small enough to ignore. But other than this, the controls are flawless. They get a 9.
Gameplay: This game is fun! As I said earlier, you feel like a real OSS agent whose trying to do his duty. The mulitplayer mode needs some work, but it's still awesome. There are two hiccups, though-the aiming, and the checkpoints, or lack thereof. Remember how I died because of the aiming at the end of the stage? Well I have to replay the entire stage because there are no checkpoints. In the beginning, you won't care, but when the stages get hard, it gets frustrating, especially when you're almost finished, unless you're good. But these hiccups are so minor they will NOT detract from the gaming experience. Metal of Honor is a must buy.
