"This game should be called Medal of Garbage"

I'll admit I've only played this game up to the 3rd level. The main reason for that is by that point I was completely sick of this piece of garbage. I know people compare it to Golden Eye but that's like comparing ice cream to manure. It just isn't in GE league.(And I'm not counting all the good computer FPS like Serious Sam, Quake, Unreal/UT, Half-life, ETC)

First off why do I hate the game. Lots of reasons, mostly the fact the game is what I would call schizophrenic. To this game player it seems that the designers couldn't decide if they wanted hot and heavy action or stealth. So the game has mixtures of both with piddling success. I hated how if you tried to sneak around you would always get found out by the officers.(Basically just shoot them first, no point in being stealthy.)

Another example of this is when the designers tried to introduce ''believability'' into the game. You have missions where you plant bombs. What's bad about that? Well the fact that you get a 2 second fuse on the bomb so you can barely get out of the way of the blast.(Lets see, you try to sneak and all of a sudden it slops back to action. Oh it so believable that they'd give an agent this bomb so he'd have no time to get away or even prepare for the rush of soldiers)

If that was all I might forgive the game but some of the other liberties the game takes are just ridiculous. Lets take just a few. For example in the game you can use a ''sniper'' rifle. Well, that's misleading. You can't see any further with the scope so you can't pick off anybody at long range. Given the fact that you have a slow bolt action reload you might as well just shoot people with your silenced pistol. Did I mention that you can't even get a certain kill with a head shot? If the Nazi is wearing a helmet your first head shot will always knock the helmet off. This wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't trying to shoot him in the neck or face to avoid the helmet.

Finally I would just like to relate the story which is basically the straw that broke the camel's back so to speak. I had gotten past a guard at a door(using papers) and went down a ''blind'' hallway. There were a few Nazis here so I took them out with the pistol.(So I wouldn't alert the guard at the door.) I came back to the door and saw the guard still there with his back to me. You can probably guess what happened. I shot him in the back and 2 Nazis teleported in right behind and started shooting me in the back.(Gee, when did Germany get a teleportation machine?)

Simply put avoid this game.
