Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2

"I'm.....still......stunned....."

This is my first review so i'm going to start off on a good note with one of the best games ever made. The reason that Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 is the best game in my mind and many others, is because THPS 2 delivers in every way possible to please us, the gamers. The game is all around and it is so addicting it has had me playin the game for 5 months now. I'll play sometimes just to hear Rage Against the Machine and the other various rock and rap artist featured on THPS 2's soundtrack.

Graphics: 9/10 Why not a 10?!?!?!? now i know this is PSX and it shouldn't be compared to other consoles, but after playing The Bouncer for PS2, nothing seems to match up. But considering this is a PSX, the graphics are stunning. The charectors are pretty easily depicted from one to another and the fluid movements from trick to trick are amazing. However the only drawback is for some reason the system thinks that skateboards can disappear and then reappear under the skaters feet. But then again if that didn't happen you'd spend most of your time running after the run-away skateboard.

Gameplay: 11/10 This game has the best gameplay in the world. You can play career mode to build your charectors stats and give him some better tricks, so that when your friends come other you can show off your double hardflip into a darkslide. You can build the park of your dreams, or you can play the park of someone else's pre made park.

Sound: 10/10 The tracks on THPS 2 are very fitting. The mix of rap/hip hop with rock makes an interesting combonation which suits any ear. The sound of *splat* as you land face first off joey's sculpture because you forgot to turn on infinite balance is always fun to watch and hear. With Rage Against The Machine as the theme song writers, you can't go wrong.

Replay Value: 10/10 No questions ask you'll be staying up all night to finish first in Bullring for the first time, or to find that last letter for S-K-A-T-E so you can procede to the next level. Warning: This game is addicting!!!

Buy or Rent: BUY!!!!!! borrow money if you have to but get this game!

Overall: 10, why because it's the best game, if it was a 9 than no other game would get a 10!
