"The Reign of Steel Begins..."

In 2030, after years of prosperity, the world is once again on the brink of destruction. Tensions among the nations, coupled with a world-wide depression, have driven country after country down the road to despotism and military domination.
Gerald Storm and Lewis Reign both were accepted into the prestigious Military Institute of Technology, their paths seemingly destined for glory. Both excelled in their chosen fields of Armored Assault Vehicle Design and Implementation, and upon graduation they went immediately to command assignments in the Crimean Conflict, rising to the level of general officers in record time.
The two officers competitive, almost antagonistic relationship escalated, and shortly after his appointment as executive aide to the Chief of Staff, Storm used his influence to reassign General Reign to a remote facility in the nuclear-ravaged wastelands of what used to be the Southwestern United States, to command the development of the next generation of armored assault vehicles.
Storm assembled his commanders and began his revolution by declaring martial law, and planned the capture of the experimental super tanks in development under the direction of General Lewis Reign, and of course, the capture of Reign himself.
Knowing instinctively the Storm would need the super tanks to successfully complete revolution, Reign downloaded all the existing files that would allow construction of the super tanks on to a CD-R, then put a 9mm bullet through the motherboard, forever closing the door on Storm's ambition.
As the fates of Storm and Reign hurtle toward the ultimate confrontation, the world hangs in the balance. If Storm wants the plans badly enough, he must pry them from Reign's dying grasp.
The Reign of Steel Begins...Get ready for extreme tank warfare in unparalleled realism! Command fully-armed, top secret military tank prototypes in a hard core 3D duel to the death.
Graphics are pretty good on this game. Explosions are so real that you can feel them...different tank prototypes make you scream for more action. So much action, you just want to jump in and take charge! Aircraft and personnel always waiting around every corner to blow you away. Deploy 12 high tech vehicles including hover tanks, armored vehicles and missile carriers.
Sounds and music blend in perfectly with the game. Nice sound explosions! They are so loud you can feel them! According to graphics, they look very real.
Experience real terrain technology. Feel every boulder and crevice in gritty 3D. Everything from steep hills to waterfalls. Shoot at optional targets just to destroy such as boulders, power lines, fences and even real people. Once Reign and Storm (main characters) began to work together on several missions, they became close, but slipped away with plans to take over with the superficial tanks of destruction.
Story of this game makes perfect sense after you read it. Almost or if not, close to reality!
Very distinctive controls vary this game. The Beginner and Thumb Savor controls are pointless, but the Expert controls make perfect sense. Similar to the controls of Twisted Metal.
Game will accompany and keep you busy for hours, but don't be like me. Play it a little at a time. I played it for 24-7 and it got so boring...This game is pretty rare. Sony stopped producing it less than a year. It's just a lost page in history, but if you play it, you will enjoy it. Hours of fun and global domination.
