"Learn how to become a dancer !"

Introduction

Bust a groove 2 is a sequel to bust A groove. This sequel features more characters to play from, more music to listen and dance too, and more moves to bust.

Game play

The game play is extremely fun. You get to pick dances from different style. Such as break dancing, hip pop, locking/popping, and boogying. To proceed to the next level you need to out beat your opponent by getting more dance points then him/her. The game is about beat and rhyme. You need to press a certain amount of directional buttons on your controller and the four main buttons before 4 seconds! If you hit it correctly the character with do a certain dance move. During the fierce battle of your opponent you can attack him! By pressing L2 on the fourth beat, your character will do a signature attack. For example, heat will throw flames at the opponent. The winner is decided by the most points. You gain points by doing the most advance dance steps. The game has some Easter bunny. You get to unlock secret characters from the game! Each time you beat the game the character will be unlock. The game play is challenging. You can probably beat the game with 2 hours of practice. There are different modes in the game. The story mode where you can play against a opponent and gain new characters, two players modes and dance view where you can see the character dance by its self. It’s cool to watch. Also there is the practice mode. It helps you for the real battle.

Music

One of the coolest parts of the game is the music. All of the music is English. There are about 10 tracks in total. The characters in the game actually talk! During the end of each match, the character would do a pose and taunt the opponent. There is some commentary in the game. When you do an advance maneuver the announcer throws in some comments such as “great move”.

Graphic

The graphic for the game is excellent. The character looks detail. The eyes actually blink! The stage environment looks unique. The texture of the game is great. The downside is the character's hand. They look like mittens. I guess it’s the capacity of the Play-Station. Otherwise there isn’t any problems.

Replay-ability

The game can last you weeks. It depends. If you want to unlock all the characters in the game it would take a while. Also it’s also great to watch then in Dance-View. The game would last you latter if you have friends come over. But I guess it can become boring over time.

To buy or to rent?

I have to see, rent the game. I was excited when the game is released and I bought it. But know it’s kind of boring. But if you like dancing games like Dance Dance Revolution then it would last a littler long for you. But again, this genre is unique so why not shelling out a few dollars.
