WWF SmackDown! 2: Know Your Role

I have had this game ever since the release date and I have to say that it fulfills everything (well almost everything) that any WWF or wrestling fan could ever imagine. I am going to be making some points in this review. I am going to explain it in 3 different points Gameplay, Audio/Video, and Replayability. So lets start.

Gameplay: when I saw the adds on TV for this game before it came out I was totally pumped up for this game. I mean I had never seen any wrestling game that had so much you could do. I was pleased with the first Smackdown game but it lacked of alot of things and THQ definitely knew what the gamers wanted. This game has tons more match options and allows you to do almost everything possible. More backstage arenas like never before, tons of weapons to punish your friends (or enemies) with and also the new wrestlers. This game has great playability and the control are the same as the previous Smackdown. I remember when I first got it I didnt get any sleep because I wanted to try everything out. I would have to give the Gameplay a 10.

Audio/Video: Ok the audio is the same as the last Smackdown. I hate to say it but the same annoying music is in here like it was in the last SD. Also the entrances are the same as before where the wrestlers come out to just their entrance video. This game is lacking something that the last SD game lacked, commentating!! Well not to worry SD3 will have commentary and new entrances. But I would have to say they need to keep playing the entrance theme music it only lasts like 10 seconds. So I gave the Audio/Video part of the game a 7.

Replayability: Now here is the best part. This game has the best replayability ever!!! Their are tons of stuff in season mode to unlock and the Create-A-Wrestler option has tons of more features and lots of tweaking then ever before. Also there is a new Create-A-Stable so you can make new alliances, Create-A-Taunt sick of havin to pick the same old taunts well use this option to create your own, and then Create-A-Manager hate having to use a WWF Wrestler as a manager well you can use this option to make your own Male or Female Manager. I have to give the replayability a definite 10!

Well thats about it. I have to say that any WWF or Wrestling fan alike will love this game. If you loved the first SD you will definitely love this one with all of the new features. Also my overall score of this game is a 9. Just wait until SD3 comes out.
