Threads of Fate

well, I'd have to say, this game was GREAT. Threads of Fate can be jotted down in my favorite games of all time. It's well worth the money you spend! At first I thought that this game may not be that good, since I really didn't like adventure/action RPG's. But after I played this game... I realized that i should thank my brother for pestering me to buy this.

GAMEPLAY: 10/10
This games gameplay was easy to use, simple, but still didn't take the fun out of the game. Rue can transform into animals and Mint can use magic. The transform system is fairly simple. If you kill an enemy, you will see it ''drop'' a small coin-like object. If you pick it up, it shows up in the list. The magic system is also quite easy. All you need to do is find and learn the magic, then use it all you want!

STORY LINE: 10/10
This game just made me CRY. (yes.. im a softy.) Well, actually just Rue's story. I don't know why, but it just touched me somehow. His story revolves around his quest to save his dead ''friend'', Claire, whom he holds dear to his heart. All through out the game, he keeps thinking of Claire and well.. just wants to see her again. In Mint's story however, it's kinda the opposite. Mint wants to control the world, and have her revenge on her sister Maya. it may sound like your the bad guy, but actually it's pretty funny. BOTH stories are actually fun and enjoyable. Congrats, square for the wonderful story line.

SOUND: 10/10
I absolutely love the sound, especially the music. the music is well done and beautiful. I enjoy listening to the cheery songs so much I'd leave the controller just to listen... Whenever Mint is on screen, a happy ''bouncy'' music always starts to play in the background and I can't resist jumping around like a little bunny rabbit..(err.. I just said that aloud didn't I..?)

GRAPHICS: 10/10
The games graphics are GREAT. Well polished and realistic, it really gives you the feel of the game. You can ACTUALLY see Mint's hair move like REAL hair! Not like the usual stiff board you see swinging around. (MOMMY! it's deaaaddddd!!!) The character graphics are well done and original and they have facial expressions! That's something you dont see everyday... Mint also looks kinda cute for a game character..=)

REPLAY: 9/10
I'ts a game I've played probably 5 times?? There are a lot of things that you can go back to, like rare items and the ''good'' ending that could happen if you do certain things. I didn't rest till I saw a better ending than the first Rue ending.. and ended up playing a few days straight! finally, I got the good one, and my quest was over. PLAY THIS GAME AGAIN OR DIEEEEE.... (senseless humor)

Buy it buy it buy it!! I assure you the game is worth the money you spend on it. If you're an adventure RPG gamer, buy this game... NOW.
