"Don't get deceived by graphics"

You talk about hard-to-beat RPGs and you have mention Beyond the Beyond. This game is just plain hard. The first time I played was a rental and I didn't get far (I got stuck in the tower). At that time I was complaining that this game was too unbalance. The random battles were challenging. For example, a mere wizard could leave a major dent in your party by lanching a magical attack that would hit all your party memebers and I'm just talking about a mere wizard here. Furthermore, due to the fact that each of your party memeber can only store up to about ten or so healing item really hurts. For instance you could be stuck in a dungeon and have no healing items left because you had already used it all up makes this game challenging. This is the reason why this game is good!

I find this game innovative. The originality of this game also super. The music was original the theme was original, and even the characters. This game had originality written all over it. With the new innovative gameplay in this game and RPGs, this game deserves a good score. I loved this game even though I might have lost a few hair from frustration. But that's why I loved this game.

Although the graphics may look poor and battles may become boring at times, if you put all the elements together this game is just about as good as any other RPGs. I have this game rated as high as Breath of Fire 3 and Persona, and personally even higher than the beatufil yet dissapointing game Final Fantasy VII.

MY SCORE:
Graphics: 3
Gameplay: 10
Music : 7
FunFactor: 9
Overall : 8
