"Square breaks the routine by making an humorous RPG"

I'll review the most important aspects of an action/rpg:

Storyline: This really depends on who you are, if you need a story to be serious, this bud ain't for you. But... On the other side, if you can take a funny game once funny games once a while(i.e. you liked Medievil), you'll love this one. The story can take a serious turn once in a while, but nothing too big. You choose. Total: 8/10

Graphics: Quite a kiddie style. None of the the bosses are scary or impressive while the normal enemies are laughable. But like the story, its dosen't intend you to take the game seriously. Some area's are nice but it ain't my style. Total: 6/10

Sound: The music is above average, it can sometimes even make you nervous (not as much as Silent Hill... duh). The voice overs are Great and Horrible, depending on who talk to. They always sounded a little bit too happy for me. Total: 8/10

Controls: Nicely done. They are so easy to use when you fight that it'll take 10 minutes for you to learn them. The jumps are something else though, you can fall down long distances(and need to work you way back up) just because of very minor errors(a la Xenogears). Except that they shine all the long. Total:9/10

Value: It dosen't last as long as an RPG but more than an average action game so nothing to declare there. And since the game is loads of fun it is worth every penny you pay for it. Total: 9/10
