Brave Fencer Musashi

"WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?"

Squaresoft you are full of suprises aren't you!!! You can spit out great games like Final Fantasy, Xenogears, and Chrono Trigger but then the next minute you can spit out unbelievable crap like Secret of Evermore, Brave Fencer Musashi ! I don't get it and what were you thinking when you made this game Huh??? The characters try to be funny but only come out as annoying, the plot is lame and highly over-rated, and the gamplay....undeniably stupid. Squaresoft you've got a game destined for the trash heep.

GRAPHICS 4/10- The graphics are a bunch of F***ed up polygons and all you can do is tell what your doing. This would't give 16-bit games arun for their money. Since this game was slapped together in a 3-day weekend, you can't expect much (if any) eye candy.

CONTROL 5/10- Analog Compatability won't save you Musashi, you and your retard cartoon friends can take a hike!!! The controls are very hard to deal with in the waterfall parts and the log thing. Although the Magic powers you can absorb is easy and cool.

SOUND 7/10- This is the highest point in the game. The music won't grab you but it is still cool. The music is actioned packed and makes the game a little more fun to play that is if you play it at all.

STORY 4/10- Wow the world needs help so a bunch of retards summon a midget freak who talks like Bart Simpson on crack and he is forced to fight an enemy with a big speech impetiment who has more retards on his side. Sound fun, Didn't think so!!! Well, you play as the midget and you must stop the annoying, well I don't know what his name was but he talks like a country bumpkin. The story is unoriginal, over-reated, and well... STUPID.

REPLAY 1/10- Replay? REPLAY? This game pierces your heart just to pick it up and your asking about replay? STOP IT!!! This is one of the worst titles recently released and if you beat it in the first place you will yak up what you ate for lunch and you won't touch this game again.

OVERALL 4/10- Yes, I gave it a four, maybe I was too nice. Without the music Musashi would have gotten a 2 at best. This is the worst Squaresoft tiltle I've played and I have played a lot. So if your in the mood for Ignorance, annoyance, and down-right Horrid gameplay, go down to Uncle Steves fleamarket and pick up BFMusashi, one of the biggest mistakes that de-evolutionized humanity.
