Brigandine

"This is what you get when Ogre Battle meets Shining Force."

Brigandine was definitly a pleasant suprise. In a year of many RPG's, this game was a big suprise. After about a month of delays, it was finally available.IN the very beginning, you get to select from one of five(5) people to select from for your quest. When I first played, I was shown too a new, cool, innovative fighting interface.The whole purpose of the game is too recruit/capture monsters and use them in battle. You can have up to 3 human leaders in a battle. The battlefields can be quite large, far bigger then FFT's limited terrain. When you engage a enemy, you get a close-up of the battle(Shining Force style), but the graphics become large and blocky. The battlefield graphics are rather anime-like(a la BOF3). As far as I've played, the game has a promising story, and with a huge amount of terrian to cover and terratories to capture, this is a extremely promising title.
