"This, to me, was the best 'Tales' game, so far."

Introduction To My Review-
And so, Tales Of Destiny 2, 'here'. This game is really good, better than Tales Of Destiny, which was released for the PSX in sometime in 1997.

First off, a brief overview of the story:
Prologue-
'Something' crashes from a distant world, whom appears a girl that she and the two main chracters get caught up in an adventure that spans two worlds.

Secondly, the Graphics used in this game-Tales Of Destiny 2-are really nice and colorful, unlike the previous US Tales Of Destiny was bland and 'colorless'. All 'Tales' games used Sprite characters over pre-rendered background, but this game uses Hand-Drawn backgrounds with a ''3D'' Effect going, meaning the background are animated in a way to make it look more alive and fuller.

Battle System-
The battles are now common, with the 'Tales' series, consisting of the Linear-Motion Battle System. If you have not played any of the 'Tales' series, then what I mean by the LMBS(Linear-Motion Battle System, is that you control the main dude, while the rest of the characters are control-able. A change among the battle system compared to the previous games. You can have up to 4 characters in your party, at a time.

Mid-Review Comments-
Tales Of Destiny 2 spans 3 disks, compared to Tales Of Destiny, having 1 disk. I personally just 'love' RPGs, because of their complexity, at times, and the emotions it stirs and worlds that we are expected to explore and discover its innermost secrets. Well, Tales Of Destiny 2's world(s), are really nice, and deep, like EVERY RPG world should be. Although, at times, you wish it would keep on going, it will have several 'Twists&Turns' in a number of areas throughout the game.

Length-
This games's Length is nothing to complain about. Period. If you had read my other review, then you would know why I hate short RPGs, but, anyways, this game takes quite a bit of time to complete, to the amazing climax.

Decision On Whether To Rent Or Buy First-
I would 'try' to Buy it, if you- like RPGs, have the money to, or love the 'Tales' series, but if you are a bit questionable still, whether to really buy it, then Renting the game first would give you the Answer, I feel, right away in the early stages of the game.

Final Comments-
Even though I was severely disappointed with the first Tales Of Destiny game, on PSX, Tales Of Destiny 2 brought the magic back into the 'Tales' series, once again. I suggest you par-take on this adventure that spans to AMAZING worlds, trying to save them both from 'something'. Sorry, that's all I can get, into detail about the storyline. Pick this game up, when it arrives in the US, hopefully.
