Colony Wars: Vengeance is an immense 3-D shoot-em up game. The vast area in which you commit your self to combat is filled with amazing graphics, great sound effects, a great sound track, and the unique game play. This game will keep you postponed at your PlayStation for countless hours.

Colony Wars: Vengeance delivers exhilarating game play. This game is action packed with a great story line. The game provides a cinematic feeling. Colony Wars: Vengeance is extremely fun to play. Many missions and paths to explore. Every mission is critical in the game. Meaning the player much solely concentrate on each specific objective. Unlike the previous Colony Wars, Colony Wars: Vengeance has multiple mission objectives. Thus, making each mission more complex and detailed. There are many various weapons in the game. Each weapon is distributed to particular space craft. To receive these weapons you must obtain the required aircraft. The game is also compatible with the dual shock analog controller. This excellent feature allows precise control over the 5 unique space craft. The rumble effect makes the game even more realistic. The rumbling effect corresponds to the players actions in the game. For example, if the player activates his afterburner, the control will rumble and shake due to the force that the afterburning engines emit. This game has a high replayability due to the fun factor of the missions. Also, there is more than one ending keeping the player constantly looking forward to each ending.

The graphics and the overall sound effects are truly one of the best qualities in the game. The intro is CG so you know its going to be astronomical. Colony Wars: Vengeance has an expansive world. Planets, stars, and space ships look incredible. Every crater, every plasma shot, every planet, they are all highly detailed. It almost feels like your watching a movie. The internal cockpit view in the game looks amazing and provides that sense of you really being inside that space craft. The third person view is quite remarkable. The lighting effects add tenacity in the game. The effects of lasers piercing space craft armor are intense. Sound effects along with the orchestral score are truly astounding. It sounds even better than the first score that Colony Wars had. Speech and sound effects are crisp and crystal clear. You'll hear every word your companions say and all the engine noise you can imagine.

Overall Colony Wars: Vengeance out performs its predecessor in every imaginable way possible. You'll go insane over the highly detailed polygonal graphics and superb sound effects. The game has class and an abundance of dexterity. Truly one of the most prodigious games of the year. I recommend purchasing the game or at least checking it out.
