"Square's first try a masterpiece"
Most of us know square for its best-selling RPGs and wonder why it will make a game in a sector in which it has no legitimacy while it can just make billions of people rush to their phone to preorder by merely announcing an RPG. Answer? because they can do it better than anybody else.
Einhander is not only one of the most accomplished and visually pleasing shooter ever released on any platform, but it also features an interesting story (no kidding) - the game designers truly have done a superb job in recreating this athmosphere of battle between the Earth and the Moon, each army having its very definite style...
The weapon system is also quite innovative, with guns ranging from your average machine gun to mines, cannons, lasers, a whole bunch of guided missiles, and some that are just too intricate to be described... Suffice to say that they look really impressive on screen.
Of course, being Square and all, they put tons of hidden things in the game, from completely secret weapons to two secret ships. Now and again there are special actions to perform (that can be really intricate) to trigger a "secret". Collect all secrets in the game and see what happens!
This game is truly good and is absolutely required in every shooters lover's collection.
