"Blood Donations?......"

Keeping your bike level with multiple skull fractures... You can't lean on a cruiser...but you can on sports bike... What weapons sound better when you land a blow at 130mph?... Why are the cops so damn useless?... Have you ever met a cop named Sprinklz?... I wish I could take a head on collision and have the balls to get back on a bike....

Recently I began looking at some of the older games in my ''collection'' and found this old gem called Road Rash 3D. It was the first game that me and my friend made a ''legal cd backup'' and too this day I still have it. I never played it much but lately I can't get enough of it. After I beat this I'll try Road Rash Jailbreak (even thought it didn't include the lean steering on the L1 R1 buttons. This is what made 3D so good. This game has lush scenic settings that take you all ovwer from Utah to California including cities, suburbs and everything in between. Yes the creators did go into detail but this is 1998. The colors can be aq bit muddled at sometimes but by playing the game you will create a new found respect of how much the creators did put into this well crafted oddysey of racing and mayhem. The fighting system is pretty basic and the weapons are fun (I like the crowbar because it makes a solid ringing thunk! sound like it just bounced off the base of a skull) and some include 2x4, steel pipe, chain, nunchaku, baseball bat, crowbar, cattle prod, stun gun etc. But all in all if you can get this game for 10 bucks used do it. Did I mention the hot Asian women who kick ass in the video's? But when this game came out everyone was in awe. There arn't many good motorcycle racing games (Does Honda Castrol racing ring any bells....any?) and this combines the best of hugging tight turns, avoiding incoming traffic and the scores of other ruthless bikers. If you though racing was hard enough try doing it with someone trying to fry you with a catttle prod trying to swerve your bike into that pick up truck that is changing lanes (no blinkers though). Is that enough for you?

Pro's: Replay value, fast racing, challenging fighting, realistic settings, good game engine.

Con's: Muddy graphics (1998), repetitive music, Too few weapons, predictible A.I (distinct charecteurs with different aggression levels)and more differences in charecteurs.
