"Just for fun"

I have never read the Danger Girl comic books, so perhaps my un-biased point of view allows for a more objective review.

Graphics
The graphics aren't too stunning. The CG looks downright ridiculous as well. But they are okay and that's all that really matters. There not bad to the point of distracting and they get the job done. There are prettier games for the Playstation, but there really nothing to complain about here.

Sound
I personally am not a big sound person. Suffice it to say that I enjoyed the music enough, though the track seem kind of short and there are slight delays before the tracks loop again.

Gameplay and Control
The controls took a little getting used to but in the end they ended feeling quite intuitive. The targeting system is a little extreme in that it's either too fast or too slow, and thus getting out the head shots can sometime prove difficult and there are time you could swear you have a headshot (hell sometime the game even tells you have one) but the guy doesn't die. No biggie. After about a half hour of playing things will seem very natural. It's not always run and kill the bad guys, there are a few stealth missions, but those I just found tedious compared to the real action. The stages were big, but felt small and uninspired, but that's just my opinion.

Difficulty
Every review I've read called this a difficult game. Well the levels could be tricky if you didn't know what you were doing. But I'd call this game far from difficult. Once you figured out what to do and where to shoot the game itself became quote easy. Sure you had to do the levels a few times, but it's nothing like say 00 Agent on Goldeneye, where even if you knew exactly what to do executing it was very difficult. In this game once you have it figured out it's a simple matter of walking it through.

Rant
Why give this game an 8. Simply put it has that little undescribable something that make it incredibly fun. Must be something to do with 3 girls fighting evil. Just like how ''Charlie's Angels'' was more or less a mindless movie with mediocre acting but nonetheless was just simply loads of fun to watch. Same thing here, nothing spectacular about any one particular aspect, but overall just a hell of a lot of fun to play. The cheat menus will keep you coming back for more in the re-playability department as well.

Well worth the 9 bucks I paid for it.
