Pocket Fighter

"Ok........This is the weirdest 2D Fighting game ever. Weird but extremley good!!!!!!!"

This is a 2D fighting game where for some reason (I don't know why) some fighters from Street Fighter (Ryu, Ken, Zangief, Chun Li etc.) and some from Darkstalkers (Ibuki, Felicia, Morrigan, Hsien-Ko, etc.)are all beating each other up

GRAPHICS
The graphics and animation are beautifully crafted, from the shiny floor in the castle stage to the way Felicia's hair waves when she walks. Think big eyes and small bodies. Now you have an idea of what they look like. If you've played Puzzle Fighter before then you'll know what they look like. The graphics for each characters ultimate attacks are great as well.

CONTROL
There is your usual D-pad contols, punch and kick. There is also two more called Special and Taunt. With Punch and Kick, you can combine these with directions in order to perform attacks, like Ryu's good ol' HADOOOOKEN to Chun Li's Hurricane Kick. You can also do some moves like Chun Li's ''Love Letter Attack.'' which really speaks for itself......... You can also do easy/complex Combo's depending on how experienced you are. Hsien Ko's ''Noodle Making'' combo and Chun Li's ''Jill from Resident Evil'' combo are two perfect examples
If a direction and Special is held, the character will charge up a bizarre attack, like smacking them with a stop sign. Super Special moves (which I won't spoil here) range from Akuma's Instant Hell to Felicia's Cry for Help, from Morrigan's ''Double Trouble'' to Sakura's ''Get-2-strong-men-to-run-off-with-the-opponent-and-beat-them-up-in-the-corner'' move, there are many to try out.
Taunt is just to annoy your opponent and with some, you can hurt them. Think of the possibilities if you finish off the ''Games Champion'' with one. :]

GAMEPLAY
Gems. These are what you need to be a true Jedi...........I mean True Fighter. The more gems you collect, the stronger your attacks become. You can make the Hadouken look even more flashy by collecting lots of these. Gems also help you to get Power Bars for your ultimate attacks. There are tons of modes, from Quiz (to find out which fighter you are) to the usual ''VS'' mode. This is quite of a ranged difficulty, a Running Battle should prove competition for the Experienced and the Beginners should try Practice Mode.

AUDIO/VIDEO
The audio is good, from the ''Poketu Fuwita!'' at the beginning and each character's move yells. The intro is enough to show off the kind of thing's you'll get in this game, with appearances of all the fighter's.

REPLAYABILITY
You'll want to play this until you've seen everything there is to see in this game, from seeing each person's individual different story, to redoing Quest over and over again. I actually can't find my copy :[
