"A great game for football idiots like me!"

To start off, I am, in no way, a jock. I don't like the sport or most of it's games. But this game is surprisingly fun! It has solid control, decent graphics, and great replay value. Lets start reviewing, shall we?

Control 9/10
Not cluttered and confusing like alot of sports games, especially football ones. You need to learn about 3 buttons: pass, tackle, and turbo. You can enter codes before a game and try to unlock something. You can play in different weather, have different size heads and play secret characters. Overall, better than most games.

Gameplay 9/10
Fun, fun, fun...and then some more fun. I've had this game for awhile and it has yet to get old. The multiplayer is even better. Unlike the computer a human opponent can't get interceptions ALL the damn time. Which was really frustrating until you learn how to avoid it. If you play the computer on hard it can get very frustrating. The game has many videos and codes to enter. There's also a tournament and season mode where you can play a real NFL roster; which I thought was cool

Graphics 7/10
Pretty good for when it came out. Not too hard on the eyes. Not too incredibly good to take extreme notice. Nor is it so bad it depletes from the gameplay. But the videos look pretty much like TV. Some pretty sick tackles in the vids too. Overall pretty good.

Sound 7/10
Pretty basic. The Sound effects are ok, but can get annoying. The voice announcer also starts to get irritating. When he says the score it sound like he is a robot. THE COWBOYS ... ARE ... DOWN BY..6. Some things the players say can be funny. Like when you get a touch down and they say in the Beavis voice: Whoa! That was cool! They talk alot of trash and stuff which was kinda stupid. It's funny though if they say something like ''you mine boy'', then help them out. There's no music during the games.

Replay Value 8/10
It excels alot here. I keep finding myself only wanting to play this game. After you get all of the videos there's still plenty of fun to be had. There's so many hidden characters and button codes before games, you have limitless possibilities of what kind of game you can play.

Buy/Rent

I bought mine for only 3 bucks! The pawn shop had like 5 and needed to get rid of them. If you can find it for less than 15 you should buy it. If your unsure go ahead and rent first.
