"An Allstar Baseball Game"

Mlb 99 is the 3rd installment in the 989 studios baseball series, and it is a real good game. Some of the freature include homerun Derby, Spring Training, Create A Player, and season mode. Some of the other great features includes a ton of different batting, and pitching stances, a pretty good announcer, and a great stat tracking system.

Graphics: The graphics in this game are great. The guys look reall, with their individual stances, and look well detailed. The fields look amazingly real, and the lighting effects in the game are real good. The players move realisticly, and slides, dives, and jumps also look real. The graphics really boost this game.

Sound: The sound is great. Even though the announcing is not as good as Triple Play's, it is still real good. The announcing is on cue, and sounds pretty exciting. The crowd cheers when they should, and really sound like a crowd would. The sound of the bat and ball are also great, creating a realistic atmosphere.

Control: The control is probally the best out of all baseball games. The baserunning is even easy to do. The control is very responsive, and easy to learn, and fairly easy to make diving and leaping plays in the field. The batting is simple and easy to perform, and the pitching interface is great and easy to understand.

Bottom Line: This baseball game is great and is a great game to play by yourself or with others. 989 Studios did a great job by making the game seem real with individul stances, good graphics, and a pretty good announcer. It is a fun and easy game to learn how to play.
