"This game is a sleeper hit if only given a little tweaking up."

Electronic Arts have produced a good game over all in Over Blood but in North America it seems that the game has failure written all over it. This 3-D Sci-Fi game could have taken people by storm if only it weren't for the extremely bad voice acting and poor graphics. The best way to describe this game is Tomb Raider meets Resident Evil and Star Wars. It's just a shame that Over Blood 2 to will not make it overseas cause if Electronic Arts just tweaked the graphics, made better voice acting and threw in more enemies this game would be a hit.

Graphics 4.0
Ouch this is the part that hurts Over Blood from being a great game. The graphics are simply not acceptable for a playstation game. The backgrounds and character models are some of the worst that you will see on the playstation. Also character interaction with the background could have also been a lot better. Let's just hope that the people in Japan were treated to better graphics in Over Blood 2.

Sound 5.0
The sound in this game is nothing special but none the less it gets the job done. In some parts of the game the type of music that will play would make you wonder if you are playing a romance game and not a Sci-Fi game. And in other parts of the game it seems that you are in a space ship flying with Han Solo. Nothing else can be said about the sound except that the sound effect are good but not great.

Gameplay 7.5
The controls in this game are pretty simple to learn but sometimes the can be confusing and make you want to scream(Trying to push and object is an example of this bad control). If given the chance the game can be pretty fun to play and there are points were you would want to stay and finish the game no matter how bad the controls are. The only thing that people will hate in the gameplay besides the controls is its lack to zombie monsters. There are only about a dozen of these zombie like creatures in the game but when you find them it is real fun the kick their butt. This game also offers neat Resident Evil like puzzles to solve that progress the story along. The puzzles are not difficult and make this game easy to finish.

Replay Value 2.0
I have to admit that there is little replay value coming with this game. Once you finish the game once you are done. The game does not offer multiple ending nor do you get extra stuff for finishing the game. This is what makes this game a renting game and is a game you will not want to buy for long term fun.

Overall 5.0
Over Blood can be very frustrating at times but can offer you good gameplay if you can look past is bad graphics and poor voice acting. Over Blood has a good story that if used properly can be turned into a great game.
