"A truly ingenious concept with the best charachters i've ever seen"

First of all you have to give this game a lot of credit. the producers came up with a pioneering concept which for the first time you can actually communicate with the other characters in the game.

Gameplay 10/10
In Oddworld Abe's Oddysee, you control a mudoken who must break free from the evil industry, Rupture Farms. But with this first task you must also save the other mudoken slaves that work there too. This game takes you through a number of different areas each with there own challenges that will keep you at the edge of your seat for days.

Design 10/10
The designers of this game are truly brilliant. the characters of this game are the best i have ever seen. And who ever came up with the idea of giving a slug legs and a machine gun has got to be a genius.

Gamespeak
This gam has single handedly revolutionized the gaming industry. For the first time Players are able to communicate with the game and not just pick different choices that dont mean anything at all with all other games to date that have a dialog that you picked. with gamespeak you must use your basic commands to save mudokens get through puzzles and stay alive. and if you do not say the right thing you do have to pay the consequences. You can end up killing fellow mudokens by leading the wrong way, or you can sick the slig's slogs on the and clear you way. so the gamspeak plays an incredible role in this game.

Control 7/10
This is the only downfall to the game. Because not only do you have to remember all of the diffrent ways to move your hero Abe, but you aso have to remember all of the different commands and if you don't get everything right you culd kill yourself or other mudokens ad have to replay that area up to almost an hour. And if you are trying to save all o the mudokens, one simple mistake in what you say could mean you having to start your entire game over

Overall 10/10
Despite the minor flaw in the control Oddworld Abe's Oddysee is one of the greatest games ever made. and a must have for any real gamer. And the unique features found only in this game are more than enough to make anybody agree with me.
