Shadow Madness

"A game everyone should add to the library."

Story:The fantastic world of Arkose is under siege.Choas reigns as a mysterious plague,known as Shadow Madness,infects the masses.With on known cure,it strikes without warning ,leaving behind vile creatures and piles of dust where its victims once stood.As the one hope to this doomed land you must stop this scourge before it stops you.

I found the story to be quite deep and involving.Although it might not say much here,the story unravels as you progress through the game.Crave really put some thought into the story and made a great game with it.

Gameplay:

Role Playing Games have always been my favorite genre.They draw you in with a complex storyline and keep you in tuned until the words "The End" appear on your screen.RPG's have always had that magical effect and in Shadow Madness the effect is overwhelming. All you think abouyt is getting your hands on that controllerand progressing through the game.Shadow Madness delivers fun at its best.

Gameplay:Very intriguing,[8/10]
Fun Factor:Incredibly fun,[10/10]
Replay Value:You may want to repay the game two or three times due to the difficulty level,[7/10]
Difficulty Level:The difficulty level is your choice.Easy,normal or difficult.If you're a newbie to rpgs I suggest you start off with easy then work your way up,[10/10]

Audio/Video:

The moody music in Shadow Madness is great!The sound sets the scene perfectly and the ffect is great.

The graphics are ok,a mix between Legend of Legaia with the beautiful backrounds and Final Fantasy Seven with the super deformed look on characters.

But as we all know graphics and sound do not make up a game,overall the effects are ok.Don't let this keep you down from buying this masterpiece.
