"The first 3D fighter that revolutionized the fighting era."

Tekken 2. Tekken 3. Then Tekken Tag Tournament. All of these games have their roots from the only one game that started them all. The one and only Tekken from Namco. This fighting game freed us from those 2D Street Fighter Games of the past. It was also one of the early games that saved the Playstation from its early death. The weird part is, it fought Ridge Racer, another game from Namco, for the top Playstation Game of 1995. The graphics are top notch to the fighter's fluid animations. The backgrounds are very detailed from Heihachi's Stadium to King George Island. Tekken is the best fighting game in the beginning. The sounds are perfect from the background music to the groans of the characters. The replay value is very high because there are many secret characters and this game is willing to make you work for them. The characters have a lot of moves unlike Street Fighter, where each character only had one or two moves. Combos are a potential vital unit here. There are many combos and each characters have many to perform. Street Fighter only lets you memorize one or two sets to win a match. Super moves are plenty here and they are easy to execute. The drawback is that they take a long time to charge and sometimes have a very short range. But then, this is Namco's first try at a 3D fighting game. Although this game is old, it is one of the best Playstation classics out there.
