Tekken 3

"Best darn fighting game for the Playstation. Worth every cent."

Some said it can't be done. Tekken 3 for the Playstation?!? HA!!! Nothing beats the arcade version. WELL, THEY'RE WRONG!!! Playstation's version of Tekken 3 plays, feels, and looks like the arcade version. it even does some things better.

There are many modes of gameplay, so there's a slim chance you'll ever get bored with this game. First of all, there is the arcade game, but i guess everyone knows what that is. Then there's Force Mode, something like streets of rage. There's Ball Mode, a weird game involving a beachball. There's lots more, too many too mention here.

On to the review, shall we? Ok.

GRAPHICS = *****

Perfect graphics. Very nice. And the best part about this is the loading time! You thought a game like this would take ages to load, but Tekken 3 surpassed that. Each match takes about 2, 3 seconds to load! Unlike the original Tekken, you wouldn't have to play Galaga while waiting for this game to show.

SOUND = *****

Hear it to believe it. Can't say anything here.

FMV Sequences = *****

I thought FMV sequences serving as rewards for finishing the game was lame, but Tekken 3 made me think twice. The movies look gorgeous, man. And there's a theatre mode, so in case you hunger to see these movies, you wouldn't have to play over and over and over rollercoaster (corny). Hyuk, hyuk.

GAMEPLAY = *****

Like i said before, there is a slim chance you will EVER get tired of this game because of the many modes of gameplay. And VS Mode is so addicting, you could bash your friends all day.

CONTROL = *****

Very responsive, very tight. Need i say more???

This is the best darn fighting game for the Playstation. If you own a Playstation, and don't have this game, rush to the nearest mall and get a hold of Tekken 3. You could rest assured that this game is worth every cent of your 48 bucks, and have no fear of sucking.
