"Not a bad translation. It'll keep you busy for a little while"

Graphics - 7/10
The graphics in Marvel Super Heroes are insanely detailed and bright. But slowdown in gameplay is what pulls down the graphics score here. Other than that though you'll be pleased how well CAPCOM pulled this off. Everything you saw in the arcade is included here. Even the nicely detailed fighting stages are here. It was nice to see how CAPCOM drew out some of my favorite comic book heroes like Spider-Man and Wolverine. Magneto and Dr. Doom look great too. The only thing that really bothered me though was the slowdown. Most people say a little slowdown doesnt matter but i strongly disagree. Slowdown affects control as well as graphics. Still the graphics don't really suffer too bad here.

Sound - 9/10
The sound is CAPCOM perfection. You'll hear all the sounds from ''Final Justice'' to ''Maximum Spider''. The only thing that kept the sound from a ten was the sound of the sound. I know it doesnt make sense but here goes. Certain things sounded like they were being heard through a pillow. that really sucks. But for those of you that don't care what it sounds like as long as it's there you wont be disappointed.

Control - 7/10
The control isn't too bad. It's customizable like in most of CAPCOM's fighting games. Certain moves are a pain to pull off when you need em. But other than that you shouldnt have too many problems in this department. All of the moves from the arcade version are here including the Infinity Gem specails that would give you all of those insane powers. All of the specials moves and Infinity combos are put into this version. So nobody's missing out on anything in this department. The only thing i saw wrong with the overall control was the slowdown factor. It messed up my timing pretty bad so it takes some getting used to.

Overall - 7/10
What can i say? Marvel Super Heroes is an excellent game. But with only ARCADE and VERSUS mode this game doesnt have too much to offer. And also keep in mind that it's almost 2002 now and this game came out in 1997. Meaning that by now there are games out there that have more to offer. Bu if you wanna bring back some arcade memories, you're a collecter, or a hardcore CAPCOM fighting fan (like my self), then pick this up if you can find it.
