My review(Sunshine's) to the playstation game Twisted metal 1.

Yeah, I know this game is quite old, but maybe someone wants to hear my opinion, or something else. Anyway, I did one to this game.

Grafic:

A nice try, but not a successful one. The grafic is not disastrous, but to be at playstation better grafic than this is neccessary. The cars are a bit ugly, the race-tracks not so very well painted and a few more things could be re-arranged. (Better grafic in the sequel). Only the special effects keeps the score over 5.

Score Grafic: 5.6/10

Music/Sound:

Heavy music is what is booming out of the tv. Music is ok, but could have been a little bit better. Sound is also ok, but could also have been better.

Score music/sound: 7.1/10

Control:

A big difference from the sequel. The control in this game is absolutely not that good as in the sequel. Sometimes it gets hard to move, driving the big car. It goes quite slowly to getting started also. The weopons is ok. But no, control is nothing extraordinary.

Score control: 6.2/10

Challenge:

As always, you need a friend to play against. That could be really funny. Playing on your own, I'd never do. It's not that it is hard, just not intresting.

Score challenge: 7.7/10

Entertainment:

For a change, the sequel is more funny than the original(many first-games in a series is better than the others). This game is a bit slow, and a bit drag. But playing two makes it a bit better. But as I said, don't buy this game. Rent/Lend it instead. Keeps you playing in maybe 5-9 days.

Score entertainment: 6.3/10

Everything:

Twisted Metal is really a twisted game. But it starts an original and intresting series. Unfortunatly, this game wasn't a great start. But the others in the series is better. What makes this game worse than the others is the control, sometimes it's hard to move, different weopons(cooler weopons in the sequel and the third game), more stages in the others, more cars and characters, new effects, and not to forget; better sound and grafic. No, the others are better, but rent this one for a day, and see what you think about it.
