"Pink Shapechanging Baby and a Strange-Lookin' Knight"

Well the concept of the game is pretty original, but beyond that there is not much to really recommend this game, unless you're an avid hard-core RPGer and are looking for something to do. I'd like to give the game a much higher score because it has quite a few innovations that I'd like to see in other games, but oh well.

Fun Factor: 4
After awhile you just don't care about what's going on in the game. It pretty much devolves into a semi treasure hunt (looking for all the different magic toys in the game) where most of the treasures aren't even worth it to begin with. And only two characters the whole game!

Difficulty: 2
A 10-month old child would have little difficulty with this game (and in fact even seems geared toward this age group...)

Control: 7
Nothing special beyond your typical RPG controls. The ability to avoid enemies who are too weak to bother fighting is a HUGE plus (you don't get any XP from them anyways, so who cares to fight them?

Story: 5
Uh... Take baby monster back to momma. Novel concept, but it doesn't do much for me.

Music: 6
The one good thing about the game is that if you are a raging insomniac, the music will put you right to sleep... Honest. They should sell this game as a sleep aid.

Sound FX: 7
A bit too cutesey for my blood, but what they hey, they weren't that bad or anything. (Except the noises from baby made me sick at times...)

Graphics: 7
Average for an RPG (where graphics are not usually a big concern) but the combat graphics could have certainly been jacked up a bit. Pixelation in ememies is very evident.

Replayability: 2
I'm surprised I made it through the first time. I haven't touched it since.

Rent or Buy: Don't bother unless you are an avid RPG fan. Even then, you should probably rent it and make a weekend out of it.
