NFL Blitz is the most different football game you will ever play. Midway outdone themselves with this game. This game offers everything you could want from a football game, and more........

Graphics: 10/10

The graphics were nice. They weren't REALLY good like a PS2 football game, but they made it big on the PlayStation. The character's kind of had some square to them, but it was okay.

Control: 10/10

The control was so perfect. Once you learn it, you'll never forget it. VERY easy. I would say the learning curve is about 1 hour. Hit a certain button twice to spin, hold the turbo button and hit X to give out a stiff arm. Either way, the control was easy and perfect. A perfect 10.

Music: Meh?

This is a football game. Where would you expect to find music. There is like one or two tunes outside of the playing field. That is the main menu music.

Gameplay: 10/10

Now we get down to it. The gameplay. This game offers everything a hardcore football gamer would want, plus more. NFL Blitz offers the most hardcore, hard hitting, no calling action you will ever see in a football game. So it is very basic, try to score more points than the other team. But it is much more. You can move before plays so it is giving you a cheating chance. you can also leg drop the people on the other team after each play. Or grab them and flip them and drop them on their neck. The best gameplay you will ever see in a football game. But the turbo will give you a chance also, maul through your opponents and knock them to hell with the stiff arm. Or when you play defense HAUL down your opponent and knock them to bloody hell. Unlock movies in Season Mode and then have the pleasure of watching them. NFL Blitz also has the banners that appear at the bottom of the crowd's seats. One is a banner for Mortal Kombat 4.

Replayability: 10/10

NFL Blitz will keep you craving for more. You will definitely find yourself digging this game up out of the old PlayStation games and end up starting a season.
