"An awesome 2-in-1 game..."

Never before have I seen a game with both a Tournament-fighting mode and an Adventure-mode in one that is actually this good. The adventure part is great, taking me back to the days of Diablo and Final Fantasy 7. The tourney-fighting part is also great, taking me back to the days of Tekken and Mortal Kombat. The only thing I dislike about the tourney-fighting part, is that you use the L button to jump. Of course, that is required in a 3D battlefield, but I always did prefer using the "up" button on the directional pad. Its also awesome to see guest appearances by Cloud and some of FF7 characters. I think that was a very innovative move, and it is actually what convinced to buy it, before even playing it! I have no regrets.

The adventure mode is way cool. It's very easy to live off of what the dungeon provides you, and the only thing I really use my money for is to buy a weapon or armor upgrade every now and then. The wine trading is also interesting, and the 5 gil upkeep pay keeps you from sitting there until you can sell for 1000 gil (I know I'm exaggerating).

Ehrgeiz is an awesome game that every Diablo, Tekken, and FF7 fan should have.
