"A DJ game?"

Beat Mania is the first of it's kind. When this game first hit the arcade, big bucks were rolling in for it's creator Konami. Now that it is on playstation, is it worth the buy? Oh yeah! It's a great game. Especially if you buy the optional DJ station to really get the feel of playing the game in the arcade. You are a DJ doing your job to earn a living. That is the main object of the game. You get to scratch the turntable like a real DJ and press keys that look like piano. There are five keys altogether. Just press the keys when they touch the line and scratch the turntable when need and that's all there is to it. The music gets a ten as it's a music game. There are many tracks, and you get different tracks when you complete certain tracks. There are some really cool tracks in the game. Try it out yourself and find out. Graphics gets a eight as there is actually nothing much that is needed to be put in the game. Just a black background, a screen with some movie-like cartoons and some coloured dots to represent the notes. Gameplay is very good and it gets a ten. It's really a very addictive game. I played it non stop for a month! Overall, this game gets a ten. Go get it now!
