007 Racing

"One Of The Most Underated Bond Games"

I saw 007 Racing on the PlayStation website and just thought that I had to buy it. So I went on eBay and got a copy for 10 bucks. I had thought that this game would be racing James Bond's cars with allies and villains from is movies, but I was wrong. This game is actually a objective oriented racing game. The game is easy after you learn the gameplay.

The story is great because it involves James Bond, but it could have been a little better. This is though the first Bond game to not have a story before being made, so it is pretty good for that. You are basically trying to stop a virus from being distributed.

The graphics may not be the best, and can look blocky and choppy in some places. But the scenery looks good in most places and the vehicles look really cool.

The gameplay might be the games only flaw. It gets annoying sometimes, especially when you are trying to turn. The gameplay though isn't horrible, and is easy once you get used to it.

The sound is this game is pretty good and the James Bond themes help. The cars make car like sounds and explosions sound good. The sound might be the second worst part of the game.

It may not be the best game for lasting appeal, but I still am playing it 2 months after I bought and beat it. The multiplayer keeps you playing it again.

The good thing about this game is its the only Bond game available on PlayStation that has a multiplayer. The multiplayer is actually very fun and makes you want to play it with a friend. The weapons available are really fun to use and makes the multiplayer good.

The best part of the game is the vehicles. You have three BMWs to choose from and you can use the Aston Martin D5. The vehicles are equipped with all weapons from machine guns to smoke to missles to mines.

Overall I give this game an 8. It has some strong points as a Bond Game, but could have better gameplay. The multiplayer and vehicles help this game be even better. It may not seem like much fun at first, but once you get going it is great.

I would rent this game if you can't get on eBay or some other place cheap. Most James Bond fans should love this game.
