WCW/nWo Thunder

"It's ok game, but needs work."

I'm writing this reveiw because I really wanted to think about what I thik about WCW/nWo Thunder. It really is an ok game, but I'm so dedicated to it that I made a wepage dedicated to it, with moves, codes, about the game, etc. I will give a review about it, giving a 1-10, 10 being best.

Sound -5-
The sound is ok, but the heavy metal music and the so-called "commentary" by Tony Schivone and Mike Tenay is very bad. All you hear is "Powerbomb!" "Pile Driver!" "Verticle Suplex" "DDP's in rare form!" or "The Giant's looking tired!" All in all, it's ok.

Graphics -6-
I'm giving this a slightly higher grade, because THQ and Inland have every detail, down to Saturn's many tattoos. And they have actual stadiums, and many rings and PPVs.

Controls -4-
This is like WCW Nitro, the moves are cheap, but ok. Also like Nitro, your opponent apptempts to do the same move, like a backbreaker, scoopslam, etc.

Excitement about the game -8-
This game is very addictive at first, but after you get all the codes and stuff, you don't really like it that much. You will be addictive for about 3 months.

Buy/Rent Rent then buy
Well, I think that if you are a die-hard wrestling fan like me, then buy it. You won't care about the graphics and stuff, you'll be overwhelmed about Battle Royal, Us and TV Title shots, and cage matches.

What I want the next game to be like
Well, the next game should be better than this one. WCW Mayhem (the next one) looks good, but they had better not have the Inland and THQ staff, cuz I mean like we want to play as some other people who desighed this game. THEY might like to see themselves go agianst all these superstars, but do we? NO! In closing, Rent first, then buy.
