"The man in action"

This is Jackie's first video game ever in the video gaming industry for the Playstation under Midway. The game was already followed by Jackie Chan Adventures. Although this is based on the Jackie Chan Adventures cartoon, it was released under a different gaming label.

STORY:

During his break from the movie industry as an actor and a stuntman, Jackie Chan was hired by his grandpa at his courier service in the US as a part time job. One time, Jackie agreed to a request by his grandpa to deliver an unknown package to the Shaolin Temple somewhere in town. But,they were overheard by a double agent also working in the company and reported to his boss named Dante. In response, Dante ordered the agent to find a way to get the package. In the next scene, Jackie was seen in a noodle house eating his dinner during a rountine delivery shift. But as he finishes up his dinner, he witnesses some men dragging his grandpa into a limo. Enraged, Jackie pursues the car and tries to catch up with it. But at the end, the kidnappers ditch him and ends the pursuit at a deserted alleyway. Confused, Jackie has no choice but to start searching the alleyway in order to locate his grandpa and confront Dante to save him.

CONTROLS:

Customizable controls (if you want to or not) will allow you to access many of Jackie's classic martial arts moves shown similarly in the movies such as punches, kicks, throws, flips, backflips and flying kicks to take out your enemues.

AUDIO/VIDEO:

Music is not bad. But, the best part in the audio is with the sound effects. The sound of the punches and kicks delivered by Jackie to the bad guys. Same thing also goes with the sound of weapons being used on the bad guys also such as brooms, cue sticks, coat hangers, fishes and the life preservers. More emphasis then on the videos. All of the videos shot for the cutscenes are based on Jackie Chan, which are then digitized for the Playstation console.

REPLAYABILITY:

Yes, the only thing would have to replay here would have to be with those pesky red and gold masks. Collecting 10 red masks in any level with automatically procure a golden masks. Acquiring all of the 20 golden masks will result in some good secrets in the end if you finish the game a second time
