Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete
Review by AlphabetMan
"A game with a story so phenomenal there can be nothing to defeat it."
Game Arts as done it AGAIN! The Lunar series has been based on love ever since day one, with Lunar: The Silver Star coming out in Japan for the Sega CD. If there is one game that has such an involving story that I would actually cry at the end, it would be Lunar.
When the first game came out on the PlayStation, there were several changes made. When Lunar 2: Eternal Blue was brought out to the PlayStation, not nearly as many changes were made. With the exception of a new dungeon, improved graphics and sound, the game is essentially the same as its' original on the Sega CD.
This doesn't mean it losses any points. The game is as excellent as ever, with a classic tale of a hero named Hiro (no pun intended), and a mysterious woman who descended from the sky and calls herself, Lucia. Their ultimate goal is to find and destroy Zophar, the evil master of the universe, blah, blah, blah but where the story is incredible lies in Character development.
At the beginning of the game, each character has their own way of doing things. But by the end of the game, each character has either, fallen in love, grown enormous support for Hiro, or has changed their attitude towards something. Every character acts in their own special way. That's what makes this game special.
