"I'll be reviewing CRAVE Entertainment's Galerians, the "game that breaks the survival horror mold". As said by Next Gen"

As I said in the Synopsis, I'll be reviewing Galerians for PSX. I'll seperate it into a few sections below.

Graphics: Not the worst, not the best. It has those average Resident Evil type graphics for normal gameplay, which aren't all half bad.And as most good games, this one contains those neat CG movies everyone loves watching. These graphics are about the same as they would be in something like Resident Evil. They're good, fun to watch.

Controls: Pretty average, again pretty much the same as Resident Evil. At least for holding a button for running, and the attack by holding down R1. The only downfall is waiting for the attack to charge. The only thing I found wrong with any of it is that the character doesn't turn sharp enough. For example, if you're being persued by some kind of enemy, and for any odd reason you wanted to turn right around and run in their direction without stopping running, the character makes to much of a large turn. And it's kind of inconvenient to stop, turn around and start running again. But what can you do? A good thing that they put into, is the ability to check things. By pressing I believe the Triangle button, the main character, Rion, will..sort of...point his palm forward. On certain things, it will give you special hints about what to do, instead of making you spend two hundred and fifty-seven hours trying to figure out how to open a door. It'll often be an image of where to go.

Gameplay: Great. If you're into, again comparing, to Resident Evil type games, you should love this. The only downfall is you get one main character. But, it's live with-able.

Story: I'll try not to give away anything here. As you can read in the book, you are Rion Steiner, a fourteen-year-old who awakens to find himself restrained in some type of scary lab. He also finds ,'' Wow! I can blow people away with green stuff!''. Then you have Lilia who you don't get to see for awhile. All you hear or see of her at the start is her voice driving Rion nuts, distracting him by trying to figure out who's bothering him while he's trying to hurt people. Then, you have your fun 'ol Galerians. Biiiirdmaaaan! This is your tall sexy teleporter guy that tries to frustrate you with teleportation. Then you have RainHeart, the fat guy wearing a vest that looks like it contains thousands of packs of plastic explosive. Then you have tantrum-prone, psycho-kenises Rita, who dresses..kind of skanky. Then, there's doctor Pascalle, Lilia's daddy, and Doctor Lem, big scary bad guy.
