Dino Crisis

""A great game but does it live up to the hype""

Dino Crisis is being praised as the next Resident Evil does it live up to the hype? Well yes and no. The view in this game is the 2nd person view made famous by the first two Resident Evil's. It also has Dinosaurs as the main enemies.

The playability is great in Dino Crisis the controls are tight and responsive just as they are in RE2. Only one setback is in the import version there is no analog support. The Camera angles are among the best in any PSX game ever made and the way the camera moves when you move is superb.

The graphics are nothing new to the playstation if you have seen RE2 than you know what the graphics are like. The main point of all graphics is the great way the dinosaurs are represented they are large and beautiful. The 2d backrounds are also amazing they are made with great detail.

The only reason I gave Dino Crisis a 9 and not a 10 is because if you are a horror game fan like me it will not scare you as much as it could have. The action is great and overall a top notch game that redefines overall quality for PSX games.
