"DDR returns with force!"

Dance Dance Revolution (from here on named DDR), was a failed attempt at bringing DDR to the USA from Asia, but returns with force in Konamix. This time Konami adds everything that makes DDR worth playing, which includes: Unlocked songs, Popular songs, and other various modes. Compared to the first DDR, this game surpasses it greatly. Lots of new features are added and nothing is stripped or taken away. The only thing that would have made it a perfect 10 is if they made all songs in 6 panel mode, and added some more Konami Originals, as more of these songs are already on the Japanese DDR.

Gameplay: Konamix has something for every DDR player. Everything from easy beginner songs, all the way to expert songs with difficult rhythms and stepping. With 33 songs to play at first and 19 songs to unlock, Konamix makes players want to keep playing until they unlock that last song. Control is spot on and on sync. That means that you won't get a good, almost, or miss when you deserve a great. The 6 Panel mode, nonstop courses, and challenge mode will keep you playing for days.

Characters: Every character that's been in any DDR is available for you to pick here (with the exception of some DDR 5th Mix characters). And just like in other DDRs, they dance in the background while you play doing moves like flares, etc.

Story: DDR has no story line so I'll skip this.

Audio/Video: This is one of the most important parts of a DDR game. Without impressive, catchy, etc. songs and smooth vivid backgrounds, DDR wouldn't be worth playing. The songs in Konamix range from R & B to rap to trance, etc. It has songs that will fill anyone's 'need' for DDR. You might not like all the songs, but you will like most of them. The video backgrounds are vivid and bright. It's the basic DDR background (with the exception of Max and Max2) with things going every which way and random objects doing random things.

Replay Value: Just like any DDR, you'll want to play this, even after mastering every single song. And with 6-panel, challenge mode, and nonstop courses, it'll take a long time to master this game.

Overall: This game will keep you playing it for a long time. Wether you are a beginner or an expert, this game is most likely for you. If you're unsure wether or not you'll like this mix, you can always rent it and then buy it.
