"A great sequel to the original game"
Vandal Hearts 2 is a great follow up to the original game, but with vastly improved graphics, sound, and gameplay. Fans of Vandal Hearts or turn based RPGs similar to Final Fantasy Tactics should definately not miss this one out.
Gameplay : 9
The gameplay is done quite well, taking turns positioning your troops and attacking. Different troops have different stats, such as how far they can move or attack strength. Strategy is needed for victory, along with taking advantage of the terrain.
Video/sound: 10
The graphics are absoultely beatufiul. The landscape is full of color and detail, as are the characters being well animated and colorful as well. Sound wise the orchesteral BGM sounds straight from the studio itself, with different tracks to accompany different characters or situations. Extremely well done.
Replay Value: 7
This game is worth playing over again, as to fully understand the story and due to the sheer fun of the game. Quite rarae for an SLG RPG.
Rent or to Buy:
This game is a master piece by all means. Buying the game is a must for RPG fans or anyobody looking for a long, new game for their PS.
