Review by Fazzle

"It's fun, but it's the same game that was released last year"

Madden 2000 is a great game, fun, somewhat exciting, semi-realistic, but save yourself the money and buy last years version which should be in the bargain bin by now.

Graphics
Everyone looks blocky, and horribly made. Add to the fact that everyone, except QBs, looks like they're at least 400 pounds. Everything else is nicely done, but since the players should be the most important, this gets a huge cut. 6/10

Sound
The intro song is...unique, but gets you into the right feeling for a football game. Add to the fact that most of the time the announcers actually make the right call, and this game has great sound. The tackle sounds are done nicely too. 9/10

Gameplay
This is where Madden shines brightly. ALMOST everything moves fluently and nicely, just like how it should. The only akward moment is sometimes the players move VERY wierdly when trying to turn them. 9/10

Fun Factor
Madden dips here again. It doesn't have the fun-nes(is that even a word?) of QB club, or the excitement level of Blitz, but it's still the best simulator. But simulators can get boring and make you take a break really easy some times. 8/10

Overall
I would definently reccomend this, if for nothing more than a rental, but feel free to purchase it, as it is a great game.
