Cool Boarders 2

"Here we go!!!!"

When I bought my Playstation this was the first game I bought. And every once in a while theres a tug in my heart that wants me to play this again. So I think it deserves a review from the one and only me!! daniel39!

Anyways back to the review...

--GRAPHICS--

To my opinion the graphics weren't too bad... though most of it were extremely blocky, the movement and animation were nice and smooth.

--SOUND/MUSIC--

Most of the sound in this game is mostly 'thuds' and 'crashes' when you fall down, so it doesn't really matter. There are voices in CoolBoarders 2 but they're really annoying. Ex. When you fall or crash, theres this guy who says ''You suck!'', ''Whatta loser!'', ''What are you doing!!'' and other things like that. The music is really awesome. I can hum the tunes right now as I write this review if you want... Every song fits the stage, so I think the music is definitely well above average.

--GAMEPLAY--

Man, I absolutely love the gameplay! So much things to do! Like Competition, Freestyle, Big Air, Halfpipe, Boardpark. You could even design your own board! Speaking of boards theres a total of 9 different snowboards separated into 3 types, Freestyle, All-Around, and Alpine. Each with different abilities. In the game you can choose between 10 stages to race through, though one you have to unlock by finishing the competition mode. To do tricks the d-pad and the shoulder buttons. Ex. UP+UP+R1 is Nosegrab, DOWN+L2 is method etc. To do flips and spins you hold the direction you want to spin or flip, together with the jump button. And when you let go your character starts spinning. And the longer you hold it the more spins/flips you do. I wish I could give the an 11 but you know...

--REPLAY--

This game will keep you going! Try getting all the secret characters (damn Gray...), stages, records, and boards. I bought this game when I was 9 and I'm still playing it! Imagine that...

--OVERALL--

This game is one of my non-RPG games of all time! And surely NOT a disappointment. Hurry and buy CoolBoarders 2!!!
