"You have not mastered the cards until you beat this game"

PS one games couldn't be any better, unless your not a big Yu-Gi-Oh fan...which I happen to be. This is the first review I have written... to those who care! Just kidding. This review is to those who don't know whether to buy this game or not. Now I will help you with that, on to the review.

Story

The story begins in Ancient Egypt and you are Yugi's dark side Prince of the Amenhotep Dynasty. The beginning is good, all you do is duel some people. Then later on a certain person who will go unnamed revolts and tries to steal the Millennium puzzle. You shatter it and get trapped inside and need for someone to help get you out. But you can find out the rest for yourself.

Overall story rating 9/10

Sound

The sound leaves a lot to be desired, but it does make up for this loss in other areas. Like in the 3D mode where you get to see your card monsters duel and attack each other. The sounds are pretty annoying after awhile. The music is as well. So that is why this gets a low rating.

Overall sound rating 4/10

Music

Catchy, but not all that great. In free duel you get the worst music in the game. Although in Campaign mode it is much, much better. And that is all the music you get. Two different kinds of it, and it get bad fast. So this one gets a low rating as well.

Overall music rating 5/10

Replay ability

This game is great for replaying, because you can't get all 722 cards on you first try, because unlike in Dark Duel Stories you don't get a card for free from the password. This time you have to pay Star Chips making the password mode almost useless. That is what makes the game so hard and fun, you have to duel to get cards. When you get near the end of the game it gets really hard. You have to duel a ton of people without saving it, and without many good cards you will not win easily. Plus it is also fun to do a two player duel, but what is really bad is that your opponent either gets to see your hand or you have to memorize your deck by number.

Overall Replay ability rating 7/10

Should I buy it or rent

Rent if you don't have the money to buy it, so you can get a good idea of the game. Although if you rent it you won't beat it in the time you have. You will have to buy it eventually to beat it. The game is great and I recommend that you buy it.

Overall rating of the whole game 9/10
