Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles

The best part of this game is that you can play single or multi-player modes. That means you can go though the game with your friend controling your partner! Kind of like Gooey or the helper in Kirby's Super Star and Kirby's Dreamland 3. This makes the game even better! Anyyway, on with the review.

STORY:(10/10) The story is a modifided verson of The Phantom Meance. It is made to fit a jedi's point of view. I liked the Phantom Menace alot so I thought the story was great. If you liked the Phantom Menace, battle droids, and jedi then you'll like this game.

GAMEPLAY:(10/10) The gameplay is good but not perfect. They probably could have made it longer. There is a lot to unlock and I still haven't unlocked it all and I've had the game for almost two years. The controls can be knd of complicated on your first try. It takes time to master the combos and deflecting lasers but once you get the hang of it it's easy.

MUSIC/SOUND:(10/10) The music is basicly the same as the music in the Phantom Menance. It features songs as the invasion of Naboo and the duel of the fates. The sounds are good like a blaster firing or a laser being deflected. Overall, the sound and music are good.

GRAPHICS:(10/10) Jedi Power Battles has really good graphics for a Playstation game. It has some of the best, if not the best I've seen for the PS1. Everything is clear and easily seen. The only thing I found wrong with it was sometimes the lightsaber blades would be kind of curved. Other than that it has awesome graphics.

BUY OR RENT?: I would consider buying this game. It probably isn't very expensive and is worth the money you pay for it. I would espically get it if you are a big Star Wars fan. Like I said there are a lot of things to unlock and it might be hard to do in the rental time. Although you could rerent it because it saves on the memory card and not the disc. Anyway, I would get it because it is fun and I always have fun when I play it. So I would consider buying it.

Jedi Power Battles is the best single player and multi-player game for Playstation. It might even be the best multi-player game for any system(not including Super Smash Bros. Melee for GameCube). So if your thinking of buying it I only have three words to say:
GO FOR IT!
