"Finally a good American DDR"

Many of us have been waiting for a good American DDR for a long time. Finally Konami gives us something worth playing. For everyone that does not have a Japanese Playstaion or Playstation 2, this is definitely for you.

Gameplay:
DDR has always had a unique style of play. It can really addict gamers fast. What you do in DDR is try to step to match the arrows on the screen. With a pad you press the arrow on the pad with you feet. With a controller the d-pad and the x, o, square, and triangle are what you press. The game is incredibly easier with a controller, but a lot of the fun is also taken away. For the true challenge, you should definitely get a good pad. I give Gameplay 10/10

Sound/Music:
DDR Konamix has some great music with an incredible 52-song selection. A very nice variety of music that can keep you playing for hours nonstop. From upbeat music to slower music this game has it all. You will find yourself downloading these great songs for your own enjoyment in no time at all! I give sound 9/10

Graphics:
Graphics isn’t a really big factor in DDR, but it does add some needed taste to the game. For Playstation it could be the best of the series! This game really doesn’t need anymore graphic wise. The characters on screen look really cool. The backgrounds also look very clean and add great depth to the game. I give graphics 9/10

Modes:
The modes in DDR Konamix are in a great abundance. There is normal mode where you can play and unlock new songs. There is 2-player where you can go head to head with your best friend. There is a mode where you can use 2 pads to add some more challenge to an already challenging game. And there is even a workout mode where you can count your calories, which is really great for some of us. I give the modes a 9/10

Difficulty:
DDR has a nice range of songs you can beat with no effort too songs that’s going to take everything you got. Some songs, however, do seem impossible and will get you easily frustrated. But in DDR practice does make perfect and everyone that plays well eventually get better. A great challenge for everyone! I give difficulty an 8/10

Replay:
Replay is off the chart! I have been playing for years and its still as great as when I got it. This game is not one that you’ll play for a month and toss it behind a couch. For a game that will keep you interested, then this is definitely for you. This is one of those times that I want to give more then a 10. Replay still however gets a 10/10 only because there is no higher number.

Buy or Not:
Definitely buy! The best American DDR by far! I recommend this game to just about every single person. It’s worth every penny for the pads and the game. By far one of my best gaming experiences!

Overall: 9/10
