Review by Darth Fett

"An innovative game with a few flaws!"

I have been a major Wu-Tang fan for many years, and when I walked into Blockbuster Video this past Friday, I picked up a brand new copy of Wu-Tang Shaolin Style for five nights. When I first began to play the game, I thought I had wasted five dollars, but after playing Story Mode for about 20 minutes, I quickly changed my mind. Aside from some slow control responses, and dated graphics, the game is remarkable. The sound is out of sight, and the moves are a mixture of martial arts and pro wrestling. I even found one of the characters used a move reminiscent of a Darth Maul flip from Phantom Menace. My favorite part of the game is how when you score a killing blow, the game freezes and the camera rotates around the fighters ala The Matrix. I then goes into a cinematic fatality depending on whether you pressed triangle, x, square, or circle. The majority of these fatalities are bloody, gory, and awesome. IÕve yet to beat the game, but the FMVÕs are amazing. As for the ratings, I give:

Graphics: 7
Control:7
Presenatation:10
Sound:10
Replay:8
Overall:8

My advice is to rent the game, I donÕt know the SRP, but itÕs really not worth playing through story mode twice with the same character.
