Brave Fencer Musashi

"If there's anything better, I wanna see it!"

First off let me say this..."PERFECT". That's the word that describes Brave Fencer Musashi. I saw the commercials, played it at my friend's house and though it was a descent game. Well descent wasn't the word.

Square hit the nail on the head with this one! I decided it was good enough to keep me busy, so I went to my nearest video game retailer and picked up a copy. I came home, sat down etc. and popped it in my PSX. After about twenty minutes of playing, I fell in love! I couldn't bileave the game was this good! The music was ringing in my head so much that I was humming the theme at the table during dinner.

Why do I love it? Well after reading below, you may just feel the urge to go and grab one as much as I did...

Gameplay 10/10
The gameplay is the most important part of a game, and in Musashi it shows. Controlling is perfect, very tight, no flaws(such as Dragon Ball-GT Final Bout). There's countless action in Musashi, wether you're battling enemies or just messin' around, hangin onto trees and all.

Graphics 10/10
The graphics are beautifully rendered. Everything is in such detail it's hard to bileave. For instance, when Musashi runs, you can see dirt swirl up from his feet, same as when he skids to a halt.

Music 10+/10
One of my favorite parts of a game. Some pay no attention to the music, but I do. If you just listen, the music to Brave Fencer Musashiden will take your breath away(make sure someone in the family knows how to do CPR :) ). There are countless themes that chime in at certain times, and they're all catchy. I would buy the game just for the music!

Replay Value 10/10
It doesn't have all that much replay value. The biggest challenge can be trying to find where to go next. Although not all that difficult there are some things you may want to consider trying to do in Musashi. I can not say what they are, for that may spoil some points of the game.

All in all I give Musashi a 10! It's perfect! Music, graphics, gameplay, control, fun factor, the challenge and replay value, everything! Buy it! Drop everything and get off your rear and BUY IT!
